Welcome to Heritage Roses Southland

It is our aim to promote and preserve the history and plantings of old roses. We are a dedicated group of
rose lovers, who meet several times a year to inspire each other with stories, photos and great speakers.

We enjoy garden tours both home and away in search of inspiration and knowledge. Once a year we have a cuttings day where we swap rose cuttings and learn how to plant, prune and take care of our roses.

We are proud to be associated with the Jessie Calder Rose Garden in Queen's Park, Invercargill. This garden of heritage roses is recognised as a Garden of National Significance, and is internationally known as a showcase of roses from the past.
